Trying to upgrade 3 phones on VERIZON - have only one question -
Have a old VX5200 - only thing we like is the VOICE CALL ANNOUNCE - when you get a call it tells you who is calling if they are in your phone book - if not, then it says the incoming phone number.
DO ANY OF THE ABOVE PHONES HAVE THIS FEATURE?
Two of us want to know who is calling without having to look at the phone's caller ID.
Thanks

I use ringtones for that function. I value RF performance above all, followed by battery life and then bells & whistles such as MP3 playing, etc.
Even my wife uses generic ringers assigned to each contact, so she knows who's calling before opening her purse. I do appreciate voice announce on our land line though.

I use Ringtones for this function on my W755 as well, but it looks it can do voice readout. I haven't tested it though. Check out page 36 of the manual.

I found that while scrolling through the phone's menus. Decided I'd rather have it ringing loud & clear, than announcing numbers. I work in a noisy shop, so it's hard enough to hear as it is.
After reading this post, I tried it out, and it doesn't read out the numbers anyway. Something tells me that part of the menu should have been removed.
