HTC PPC6700 Odd issue

Hello, my Data on the phone will not work correctly after the latest software release for the phone. My MSID settings won't stay and keep reverting back to 0000000000. Anyone have any ideas? I have Alltel Wireless and they said it should be my hone number but its not staying.

OK, this is frustrating, I'm paying for the data service but cannot use it.
Do you think a reflash of the system software might correct this issue?
