Difference's in HTC touch Between Carriers?

Hi all
I have a question, that may have an obvious answer. But I need to be sure before I spend the cash.
Are there any hardware differences between the HTC touch 6900 for alltel, sprint, or verizon?
Also would I be able to use and external wireless adapter? probably won't use the data enough to justify the $45 a month on verizon.
