Just bought a TyTNII and have the 'Taster' version of TomTom. What's the difference between this software version and buying version 6 of the software directly from TomTom? Is there a difference in cost or do HTC customers have to pay only for maps, because the software is bundled with the phone?

I ask because usually trial software is nowhere near as robust as the regular shrinkwrap version, and if I'm going to install something, it might as well be the real deal.

I may be wrong, but I believe the software is very much the same, but the 'taster' version limits you to one map where the full version will make all of USA/Canada maps available.
