i have a 6800 for verizon and was wondering how i could stop it from making data calls

You want to turn your Data connection off? Just push the Comm Manager Button and click on Data Connection so it is white and has a X in it..

I wanted the same thing. I had found a tweak on ppcgeeks.com, but after reading several posts found that calling Verizon and asking them to block data worked out the best. The negative to this is you won't be able to receive or send MMS.

i did try calling verizon but i dint work out well because sometimes i like to have data but even when i close it in comm manager it connects again instantly
