HTC Diamond build quality?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can tell me whether the Diamond is well-constructed and more importantly, whether the screen is toughened or treated to protect against scratches?

Is the phone itself constructed out of cheap plastic which will easily mark or scratch, and is the back 'shiny' or matte, like the back of the TyTN 2?

The screen feels like glass, that said catch a grain of sand (or something else) between your finger/stylus and the screen I'm sure you can scratch it, but it is probably the toughest WinMo screen so far, it does come with a plastic screen protector just like the Touch did. The buttons on the front are one sheet of plastic that bends into the corners when pressing, different but works fine. The center D Pad is hard to get use to as you have to press it into the center action button which is not connected. also around the outside of the action button is a virtual scroll wheel that is only enabled in specific apps. (hope to find a hack to atleast enable scrolling in all apps)
The back is shiny and plastic will scratch so if you have a way to protect it do it.
Overall build quality, this phone is very solid to hold no case creaks no flimsyness... excellent... I have place a clear rubberized protector on the back cover of mine... I believe they are called body guards.
