prob activate embarq ppc6700 to cricket

I have an embarq ut starcom ppc 6700 that has been flashed to cricket called in and did esn switch. When i call in to *228 to complete the actvate i get the following error "the number of SPC attempt fail 15 times from network. Handset will freeze for 1 minute then power reset." I eveen took it in to a cricket store and they couldn't manually program it. Can someone please walk me slowly through how to manually program it. Please?

I don't have a clue what to do is there someone out there that can help me with my ppc6700 problem

I have the exact same problem, I was told we had to manually program our number into the phone, but I don't know how to do that. I will let you know if I find anything out.

This worked for me hopefully it will work for you first slide open your phone and type ##900132 after you type that a screen should come up with a screen that says MDN click on that and type in your phone number than press ok, after it will ask if you want to update the device click ok and will will restart all its own and should work good luck

ok to activate it type in ##diag send or ##diag#

then open qpst and find wat port it is on

then go to bitpim and choose the port it is on and put it on other cdma phone

and navigate to nvm/nvm/ NVM_0002

and your spc and the msl should be there

now open up qpst service programing and click read from phone and type in the msl you got earlyier then on the first tab you should be able to change the msl change it to 000000 then click writ to phone

then try to do a *228 it should work now if not ask the crickit operater for you mdn and min and do it mannualy by doing ##msl send or ##msl#
