Is there another dialer program available for the Mogul? I want something that will pull up contacts by the letters I press via the numbers. I don't like how if I press a number like let's say 6, it shows all the contacts that have the letter "M" in both their first and last name. And I have to keep typing the name of the contact in order to get to the person i'm searching for.

I like a T9 type dialer where you just keep pressing the same number to scroll through the contacts that correspond with that number/letter combo ie. their first name only. Then I can just choose that contact and dial.

The mogul dialer contacts list is also just way too small when using this method to select a contact with one hand.

Any suggestions?

the dialer should do that stock. its called smartdialer or something....

dont even open the contact list. just open the phone and type like 328 if you are searching for david, for example. you might also have that feature turned off, i think you can just turn it on in the menu under smartdialing options

Yes, this phone should do this automatically, as mine does. I pressed 328 on the keypad and one of my contacts, named David did come up. It should work right now.
