New fido data plans work with BB service?

does anyone know if i can add one of those new data plans announced by fido to my BB plan?

would that effectively up the email and data or just data and email volume is considered separate from general data?

With Fido, you can only have one data plan only. So, it's either the BB Connect plan (a full BB plan is unavailable with Fido) you have now, or you will have to give it up to get the other offering(s). Problem is, if you chose a non-BB data plan, you will lose most of the functionality that makes a BB great.

Just something to consider.

ah just as i feared. i would like to keep emails coming and get some more data for web etc.

technically they can leave the 4MB for emails only and let me add 30$ for web alone. i guess that is too much to ask for...

It can't be done because the system won't allow an account to have two different data plans. Also, in order to use data to surf on your BlackBerry it needs to be BlackBerry data because it runs of RIM not Fido. Also the BlackBerry connect plan on Fido are no longer offered, the one you have has been grandfathered and if you take it off your account you can't add it back on.

You can use your berry on fido. You just have to have an unlocked one and add a fido BIS plan to your account. Then go to http://www.fido.blackberry.com/

You will not be able to use BES services.
