just wondering if anyone know which carrier carries the curve with a decent AIM program for free

Blackberry.com does not charge for it's AIM program. All you need is the blackberry data plan. I use Tmobile and it works fine for me.

AIM is not supported on the 8830 WE or 8330 Curve on Vzw. Only Yahoo and GoogleTalk are available with Verizon.

I had the 8830WE with Sprint and was able to get AIM to work.

Sprint has exclusivity for AIM 2.0 for a while its now working for tmobile...
