BB ROM flashing AT&T to Rogers?

ok i looked around and maybe missed something, my understanding is that you delete the vendor.xml so you can flash a rom from one company to another, however everytime i try to flash the Rogers 8310 ROM onto a AT&T 8310 it still stays at&t and i rember i did this a long time ago with a 8300 and it worked just fine. Am i doing something wrong?

When you boot up a ATT 8310 it will ALWAYS show the ATT Splash screen. This is hard wired into the device and there is no way to get rid of it!

that i know but like i just trying to load the rogers stuff on there, ugh i just wish i remeber how to do it, but if you guys say it cant be done then i guess it cant, but i could swear that i did it once a long time ago.

you can unlock vendor themes, allowing you to select the Rogers theme to work with an ATT BB, but the splash screen that shows the ATT logo cannot be changed.

That's what I'm wondering. Your Rogers-specific settings are in your service books, not the OS itself. Do they have some apps of their own like TMO's MyFaves or at&t's PTT?
