Lack of trackball issues

I have the 8300 and I recently broke the trackball(all the parts that make up the trackball center have fallen out), I really love my phone and don't want to get rid of it. So I was wondering if there was any way to navigate without the track ball or if there was a company that services Blackberrys?

Thanks so much

You should be able to purchase a new trackball off either ebay or check out http://www.cnn.cn They sell them on there and its not to expensive like 25 bucks or something or if ur really bad with the track balls you can get a bag of them for 350 dollars. Hope this helps.

I have purchased from the above site and they are great. Be sure to make sure you have the tools you need. Since its being shipped overseas, I ended up buying some other spare parts so I can replace them over time....cuts down on the overall shipping charges.

Uhm... They're only $8.99 each on that site... and for $350, you'll get 50 track balls... I'd like to think that I'll have another Blackberry by the time I would need to replace the rack bakll 50 times.

I too have purchased from eBay. Replacement was a snap (only requires using a mini flathead screwdriver and less that a minute of time) and the track balls were inexpensive enough where 'cleaning an old trackball" is not worth the time or the effort. Replacing one certainly is!!!
