Htc Touch missing storage card data help!

Hi everyone,
Bad News: I had a major problem with my Vogue. I restarted the phone last night and after it rebooted the data on my storagecard was missing. If I check the storage card on the Vogue it still says that 4.6 gig out of 8 is used however the files can't been seen from total commander, file explorer, or windows XP. What is the problem? Is there anything to recover the lost/unseen data? Your help would be greatly aprechiated!!!

I had a similar problem before. Its a bug, happens every now and then. Has only happened to me once, but I had to format it to get it usable again.
