after 8 years, i am switching from sprint to Atnt. for those of you familiar with sanyo devices, i currently have a Katana DLX and i am satisfied with its features but i am looking for a larger display.

I use voice alot, surf the web often, email and text light to moderately, picturemail lightly, take pictures lightly.
looking for a device to best handle these needs that is skin and has a nice size display with high resolution.

thinking of an iPhone but dont know if i need that device which you have to pay an additional $20 per month for.

new to Atnt so i appreciate any help you guys can offer.

thanks in advance.

Personally, I kinda like the Blackjack 2. Not sure if you want a smart phone or not, but if I were to switch to AT&T I'd either look at that or the LG shine. It looks kinda sexy too, but I've never personally played with it, so I can't say for sure.

Sorry for being naive but would my Sanyo DLX be be considered a SmartPhone? if so, then yes, i am looking for a SmartPhone.

Btw, I am able to view youtube on my DLX which i would like to be able to do on an Atnt device.

Thanks for the input.

how is the resolution on the 2 devices you mentioned? thanks again.

Nothin personal, but ur katana dlx is a pos. It's not a smart phone. A smart phone is like a palm, a blackberry or a windows mobile device. Ur current phone just does alot. It's kinda comparible to the shine. Like I said, I've never had the priviledge of playing with the shine myself, but I know it's 240x320, which is the highest common resolution. The screen on the blackjack 2 is phenomenal though.
