Considering getting a 2.0, big sticking point is applications. I run pocket quicken and sync it with my desktop PC. So far I have only found one application, and it syncs to a desktop client that only works on Mac. As I am not getting a Mac to be able to do this I am still searching. And with out the application I will be sticking with Windows Mobile devices like my blackjack.

Any one know of any or of any planned for release in the near future?

Oh and if you know of any recipe programs that do the same thing want one of those to

We'll just have to wait to see if Intuit releases something for the iPhone. They have OSX versions of Quicken, so its possible they could do something for the iPhone. No announcements have been made, but then again the App store and firmware 2.0 aren't out yet.

I'm waiting for the same thing...I have an iPhone but still carry my Touch Cruise for both Ewallet & Pocket Quicken...These are my two must have apps. I think Illium is doing something with Ewallet. I emailed Intuit & they responded "if we develope anything for the iPhone we will email you".

Yea I emailed them also. What worries me is Quicken started a pay per month service to do this over internet for iPhones back in January. Seeing alot of people in other places wanting the same thing. Seems it would be a money maker. I would pay for an upgrade version of pocket quicken that runs on the iPhone even though I already have a license for the WM version.

Even a version that syncs data to Quicken's web site would work, as long as it actually runs on the iPhone and can store data for when no data access is available.

I just spent a week in the Montana/BC/Alberta area, and many areas didn't have cell phone coverage. And even where it did (Rogers in Calgary is 3G) I didn't want to use my phone there due to high roaming charges.
