A few questions... selling iphone

I have read and searched... but I have more questions than answers...

I am thinking about selling my iphone 8 gig, and using the cash to buy my wife and I the new 3g iphones.

I want to sell now to pocket the cash... but how do I go about doing this? I will probably unlock it and sell it on ebay... but should I take my sim card out?

Also.... will my sim card work in my crappy old nokia in the meantime?

Also... how do I go about doing this so I don't screw up my family plan?

When I get my new iphone, do I just drop my sim card in it and start making calls?

I am so confused... it probably isn't that complicated... I am sure a ton of people have done it. Please help.

Well, remember to leave the iphone data plan on your account so they would know you still "have" an iPhone. Your sim card will work in the nokia, just remember your voicemail may be weird since it is trying to use iPhone visual voicemail. Your plan won't screw up at all unless you tell them to do something directly. When you get the new iphone in store, they will do everything for you, so don't worry about it.
