How many T-Mobile users plan to get iPhone 3g?

Just wondering how many T-Mobile users plan to get iPhone 3G either by changing carriers or getting one outright and unlocking it when possible?

Just went to AT&T store today. Got approved for a free phone and 2 year contract. Salesman told me to return the free phone on the 11th or within 30 days and I can buy the iPhone. He even waived the activation fee on the free phone so I won't have to pay two fees.

Kind of strange though, I didn't have to sign anything. Just showed him my ID and gave social security number. T-Mobile usually makes you sign and initial a bunch of stuff before they'll let you leave the store.

Wow, that is odd. Seems to easy to get out of the contract if you did not sign anything. I think rep may have made a mistake.

I can't vote because none of the above apply. I just left at$t and paid my etf to come back to tmobile because the service was awful (for me) I was eligible for the iPhone for $199/$299 and could have waited 2 weeks to get it, paid the etf then and come back to t-mobile but it didn't seem like the ethical thing to do, call me stupid but that's how it is.

I won't get the new phone, obviously it doesn't mean that much to me considering my decision to leave at&t. My current iPhone is fantastic and I'm quite content with it, plus I have a new blackberry to play with.

When I first signed up with AT&T, I never physically signed any paper. I read a contract on a computer and clicked I agree, and typed my name.

Sorry, should have added option for "Already have iPhone 1 and is good enough for me". This happens to be my stance.

If possible, could any mod please add this option.

T-mo contract ended yesterday. Waiting on the iPhone, but curios to know if getting the unlock code for the Sidekick 3 would help with resale.

im with TMO now and have the iphone. Dont know how the ATT service is in this area. Dont really want to leave TMO either. might just wait til the BB BOLD comes out on TMO or til the 3g iphone gets unlocked. I'll wait to hear reviews first. but i HAVE been considering switching to ATT because they have been getting the cool phones FIRST lately.
