vision is gettin better

i noticed over the past 2 weeks that vision is getting better. the picture quality of pictures i take and send to other vison phones is actually pretty good. in comparison to how they looked before. it looks more likie the actual picture. the picture mail oniline is actually pretty good as well they are giving more options to alter the pictures..very nice sprint very nice indeed.

HAH! I wish.... I have had horrible vision problems for the last 4 days. Won't upload/send pictures and I cannot acces a single WAP site minus the SPCS WAP Home Page.

I have had a good experience lately. I even got some weather radar stuff to work after reading another post in the Sprint forum. Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble but glad to hear others are having good luck.

Certain states, mainly FL, have had vision down for the past few days. So it isn't like me having bad experience with it... it just isn't in proper working order and they're upgrading the systems and ****.

I had trouble last night and the tech had me disconnect the battery with the phone ON. He said that this cleared the cache. Left it off around 2 minutes and now it works great again.

Vision is nearly useless, here. I had a temporary fix when they set me up with the Kansas server but then I got on with tech support because I and my friend can't send any PICS at all anymore, and they reset me to the NY server, gee thanks! 100% failure, error code C2, the system is busy and they can't fix it. I give up on Sprint, they are perpetrating one big fraud. Signals are up an down, full 4 bars to zero and loss of signal all the time. Vison does NOT work, it is a joke. We had about 12 hours where it worked last evening to this morning but it is back to zero now. Pictures do not work at all. What is the point of a buying a cam phone to use on Sprint. The 8100 is nice but Sprint sucks.

I have to say Vision *is* getting better...sure there are some customers that get timeouts and others who have to deal with tech support from time to time...unfortuantely, though, there is no perfect carrier...

When AIM comes out I will be almost 100% satistifed Sending pictures is commonplace for me now, and it generally goes fairly quickly.

Vision in my opinion has become more reliable, too.

Well. perhaps you are able to send pictures in your area but in Queens NYC it is another story entirely. In the month or so I have been involved with Sprint, it has not worked properly for more than a few hours. I got a bit of relief when they switched me to a Kansa server but then I had problems, called tech support and she set up my primary and secondary servers back to NYC and I am back in the trash. I have not been able to send a pic in the last 2 days at all even with trying a hundred times, nor could I with tceh support on the phone. She tried everything she could and told me there were no maintenance issues just the C 5 C2 T25 errors were an indication of system overload. Between the lousy signals fluctuating up and down and the useless Vison service I don't see how anyone can call Sprint good service. The only thing good about Sprint is leaving them. In any world, this is called FRAUD. I should be reimbursed for my costs. If this was a car nobody would be making excuses for such poor performance. I am afraid that lousy cell phone operation and a the useless Vision rip-off has become expected and the norm. I will not be unhappy about switching to Verizon but Sprint should repay me for the telephones I purchased from them, they are useless. If anyone wants an A460 or 8100 let me know. I am hoping to see what is available from Verizon today or next week. My Spit service is going down on the 30th.

Nat,

I'm sure that Sprint will at least be kind enough to reimburse you for your service that hasn't worked (Vision) for this month (and maybe last?).

Just call 'em up and ask...

My service is great.... no problems with anything.. vision is way faster then anything my old carriers web browsing thing could do (cingular) and sprint has much much better phones.. i LOVE my 8100... i think it might be where u live tho... u should call back and tell them to put u on a different server.. if u know whats wrong tell them and they will fix it? i had problems abotu some other chick being on my account and my passwords and such and they worked everything out in 30 minutes on the phone and they had the technician make my new screen name and password for me everytime ive called sprint they have been very helpful and i dont understand all these ppl saying that there customer service sucking? i called at 1130 at night and they were open? i was very suprised... cingular closes at 8 but then again they dont have anyhting on there phones... so nothing could mess up.. the more u put on the more it can mess up.. o well... anyone that doesnt have sprint ... GET SPRINT :-D
