Weird 5150 problems, help!

I am having some weird problems with my 5150, and I am hoping someone may have a solution.

1. All of a sudden, all of my ringtones and pictures were deleted from the "Data List" under "Downloads." It also lists as having all 128k free. However, when I go to the phone book, they are still there and available. The pictures still show up, and the ringers still play. What happened?

2. Also, whenever there is a choice between "Yes" and "No" they have the opposite effect, yes means no and no means yes.

Is there any way I can fix this stuff?

The 128k is just the buffer. You can actually store something like 4-5Mb worth of data on the phone. Once you set a picture or set a ringer, you can delete the files from the buffer. It sounds like your phone may have done that for you.

If you are really having trouble with the menus not working, you may have a defective phone. Bring it in to Sprint. Just don't let them give you a refurbished one in exchange. Demand a brand new one.

Thanks for the help. I have one file in the "buffer" right now. Do you know how to manually delete it from there, so I can see if that is the problem I am having?

You were right. I deleted a picture on the "Data List" screen, but when I go to my phone book, I can still select it as a picture for an incoming call. How would I go about deleting something permanently from the phone?

You have to go to the specific menu to delete items stored on the phone. ie. Ringers, or Wallpapers, etc.

go to Game/Tools--> Downloads--> "Menu" buttom--> Unassign--> Choose what you want to delete.... here you go....
