I'm just wondering - those of you who have royally screwed up your iPhone... what you did to mess it up?
Did you ever revive it?
or is it still dead to the world?
Just trying to learn from others mistakes so I don't end up trashing mine.

i bricked mine trying to virginize it. Toke me like 2 weeks to get it working again. just requires patients and the right programs

Well i was trying to virginize mines to take it back to apple. When i get it replaced i wont be hacking the new one at all!

please let me know once you are successful in virginizing the phone. I am also looking forward to that to take my phone to apple for a hardware issue

I had no problem virginizing my brothers phone. I unlocked it using the very first unlocking method out there, and he kept the original firmware up until 1.1.4 came out, and then he wanted that. So i had to virginize it, then used iPlus 2.0b to unlock and jailbreak, no problems
