Atlanta Apple Stores

Ok, there are 4 apple stores in Atlanta. Does anyone have reports on the line lengths or stock at any of these locations. I had heard earlier that the North point store had hundreds of people in line, but they may have hundreds of phones..... All At&T stores in my area sold out within a few minutes of opening so I am going to avoid them and concentrate on Apple stores only. Any info would be appreciated.

Perimeter Mall had a line down to Nordstroms during lunch and at one point, shut the doors. They had to run to the storage area to restock.

i went to the att store in austell ga off of east/west connector and the line was about 20 people long when i arrived at 645 am. there were only about 3 or 4 of every variety of iphone left when i finally got to the counter so i just made the cut... unfortunately is 230 now and i havent been able to unlock it via itunes so good luck with that part if you do secure one.... Best of luck

NorthPoint Mall ... about 200 people in line at 1:30 PM ... sales people handing out water bottles. They indicated they had enough phones for everyone on line but did not give exact numbers, sizes or color information.

went to ATT store in the boonies. got 40 phones. girl took down names and numbers for people in line, I was #39.

get to the end of the line, ran out of phones. turns out I was #41.

I am not happy. at all. completely wasted my time.

Thanks for the info. So I guess none have sold out yet, but lines around 200 people at each store maybe? Hopefully tomorrow will be better, but somehow I doubt it being Saturday and all.

Just called the Northpoint store and they have already shut the line down for today, but the do still have stock. I just don't see any way to get an iphone around here in the next couple of days without standing in line for 3-4 hrs. This is silly.

I agree. I just wonder how much att is holding out on us at the local stores. when they get shipments in, I hope they fill their "direct fulfillment" rather than selling them in the stores.

of course, when I try to call an att store, I have to sit through a minute of voice recordings only to GET HUNG UP ON with no option to speak to anyone. RIDICULOUS.

I can't even speak to someone at the store where I ordered my phone. complete nonsense

Interesting, that store doesnt even show that they are going to be selling the iPhone. I just checked AT&T's site and cant find it listed anywhere.

I'm debating going to the one over near Akers Mill or perhaps this one. Sounds like if there wasnt that many people there this morning, maybe there wouldnt be tomorrow morning as well.

Called mall of georgia store and they said they were starting to get low stock, especially 16g black. He said they would stay open as long as the mall will allow and there were still a ton of people in line (2+ hr wait). Looks like they are going to try and sell out tonight. Wow, they are selling the sh^% out of these things.

Just got back from Perimeter Mall, line was still about 200 strong. I have a corp AT&T account so I wasn't going to be able to get on there anyway. I might try an AT&T store early tomorrow morning (around 6 or so) but I'm not sure yet.

They had the line at NorthPoint broken into 3 sections so mall traffic wasn't obstructed ... FYI ... this was at 1:30 PM .... the mall opened and let people start lining up at 06:00 AM ...

What time do you think the malls will open tomorrow morning? I'm heading over to Perimeter in the morning. Do you think we'll have to wait outside or will they let us in the mall before 10:00?

I'm at the perimeter at&t store, about 30 people in line, the manager just came out and said that they have about 100 in stock.

hrm I'd like to be able to call and check, but all the att store lines give me an automated message and then hang up on me.

I got a white 16GB this morning at the AT&T store over off Cobb Pkwy across from Akers Mill.
