where to I put ringtone files

I'm now running 1.1.4 of the iphone firmware and previously I used iBrickr to backup my files - ringtones, photos, addressbook.
But now that I've restored my iphone and upgraded to 1.1.4 - I don't know what directory to put my ringtones in. I uploaded a few to where I thought they belonged but they don't show up.
what's the deal? they are regular mp3's that were working as ringtones on my 1.0.1 phone.
do I need to move them? Or what?
btw, I'm not using iBrickr to create/install the ringtone using the iBrickr feature because I'm doing this on a windows pc where I don't have music stored.

Please help. I gotta believe some of you hacker's out there know where I need to put these files.
