i updated to 2.0 on my 1st gen iphone and now whenever i sync it goes through the entire backup process before it loads any changes i have made.

any ideas?

I've been hitting the X beside the progress bar. It stops the backup and moves on to the sync.

good call. so is this a common thing with the updated then or is it specific to certain phones.

i was jailbroken until this morning and i have been have troubles ever since trying to get it back up and running.

Reset your sync history. I read about that on another forum.
