I followed some instructions... downloaded the 1.1.4 restore.ipsw file then held option while i clicked restore... however when I tried to direct to the ipsw file as advised none of the files would allow me to use them... I then tried to mount the disk image from 022-3894-4.dmg but it wants a password and I have no idea what the password is or why it needs one... anyone have any ideas... I would like to restore my iphone back to 1.1.4 and re-unlock it so I can use it until some 2.0 unlock software is available...

I had to use Ziphone to downgrade baseband to kick phone out
of recovery mode.

I'm finally back on 1.1.4 jailbroke with Winpwn........

Thanks 24trepid. I tried it but there is too much left out of the equation... I have a Mac and a PC but I don't know where to get itunes 7.5. I have 7.6 on my PC right now but it won't even recognize that my iphone is plugged in.... so unfortunately for my technical ability there aren't enough instructions... but i appreciate your post.... I guess I am stuck here waiting for the devteam release...

info on a guide for Mac somewhere.
