Sidekick LX to iPhone! Need help...

ok.. i've read that you need to have the Total Internet Package with T-Mobile in order to be able to use the internet and all that on an iPhone..

well right now i have the Sidekick Data Service plan obviously, since I have an LX..

my question is, when I change my data plan to the Total Internet Package, will i still have my unlimited texting as i did with my sidekick? Or does it only apply for the Internet?

(i'm hoping for the good news that it IS in fact applicable with free texting as well)

ur sidekick plan will work only on a sidekick, it doesnt work on other fones other than sidekicks, sorry.

No, you'll have to add the $15 unlimited text in addition to total internet. Only the sidekick plan includes data & sms for $20. Sorry.

the only other way would be to get the 5.99 tzones Internet added to your plan and then add 14.99 unlimited text as well. The Internet will not be as fast but you won't be paying 35$ for Internet and text messages. You will also have to do the tzones hack witch is found can be don through the installer.app. You just have to find the source to add to the installer. Just search the forums for info on that.

The only porblem with the 5.99 tzones is that certain sites will not work becuase the 5.99 plan only has limited ports that it can open so some sites may end up not being able to open up
