What MSN app stays connected? (Web or native)

New to the iphone world here, up in Canada.

Pretty disappointed to see the MSN offerings for this thing. I realize I'll have to wait until jailbreaking happens to install any of the native Iphone apps.

Wondering what people recommend out there, either as a web app (Safari) or native app (to be installed manually after it gets jailbroken) for MSN messenger. I want something that stays connected all the time ... whether I'm on the phone, whether the phone is in standby mode, etc.

So far I have tried meebo, beejive and e-buddy ... all Web apps. I'm not too impressed with any of them. Meebo's pretty limiting. E-buddy constantly disconnects. Beejive's a little TOO resource-intensive.

This is pretty much a deal-breaker for me... if this thing doesn't even have a stable MSN client which stays connected when I'm idle, it's going back in favour of a Windows mobile device.

apple will be implementing a service to allow im apps to stay connected. Currently my suspects are agile messenger and Apollo im

agile is the best, install it once its jailbroken (hopefully soon)

I'd be surprised if Agile doesn't show up in the store soon. I'm pretty sure it doesn't maintain connection while idle though.

To another poster: Where did you hear Apple will implement better IM support?

Lastly, I am also wondering about Agile ... if it is so widely used, why isn't it on the App store yet?
