okay i downloaded Ziphone to unlock my 16GB iPhone(1st gen). did the whole "Do it All" thingy! popped in my SIM card and it still says..."SIM LOCKED" press "OKAY" or "UNLOCK". i press unlock and now it's asking for a code? did i don something wrong?

was your sim card in during the whole process from start to finish? IE before you pluged your iphone into your computer it was in?

actually it was out...no SIM was in it before hand

no you need to do all of it with the sim in. try from scratch but this time ave your sim card in the phone before you do anything and do all steps
