question.. can i set up my auto check for my email to manual (never autocheck), that way ill get email pushed to me? does that make sense?

Only "mobile me" email will be "pushed"

Any other email addresses, unless you forward them to a MobileMe account, need to be 'fetched'

if you set the 'fetch' to manual you won't get any email unless/until you open the email client on the phone and manually retrieve it

I believe Yahoo and Gmail support push as well, at least that's what I've read from other posts here. I don't have either of those so I'm not sure.

I was assuming the OP meant POP or other IMAP accts though since you don't set any 'fetch' data for Yahoo
