ok.. so i got an iPhone.. and ive been doing different things.. but i don't know if im doing it out of order or if im missing a step...

i tried restoring the phone to the 1.1.4 firmware and got an error message (i read somewhere that's normal, but idk if it was talking about the same thing)

then i tried jailbreaking using ziphone 3.0 but it never picked up the iphone connection, even though iTunes did..

and idk what to do anymore..

thank you sooo much to anyone that can lead me in the right direction.. as you can tell i am totally new to this kind of stuff
