Help me please! I installed a BSE full body to my iphone earlier today and all was fine. Now for whatever reason, the phone's touchscreen is screwy! In Safari it always clicks a button for a new page and when I'm texting it presses return for no reason, etc. My phone is unlocked and jailbroken BTW. Any tips? I bought it from some dude on Craigslist a while ago in mint condition. HELP! Thanks.

I guess the question that first comes to mind, how long was it properly working after you installed the skin? I just ordered 2 from them... I hope that isn't the prob.

Well it says to make sure you don't put water on the actual phone itself. I followed their directions fully. It's a great skin, but I hope the water on the actual skin didn't screw it up! It worked for maybe an hour or so. Then it went bonkers. I made sure there wasn't any excess water. Argh! Is it a software thing maybe? Should I try to restore the phone?

Try holding down the sleep button until the power off slider comes up. Turn it off and leave it off for about 5 minutes then turn it back on and see if you still have issues. The scrolling on my contacts seemed to lag when they first loaded and I couldn't move them for about 4 seconds. After I did this, all is good.

Alright my phone is off now. I think I pinpointed the malfunction area. Whenever my phone is in landscape mode, the bottom right of the phone keeps thinking I'm touching it there. But when I move the phone to another position, it stops and is normal. I'm thinking maybe it was some water that seeped through to the innards of the phone. I'm thinking of leaving it in front of a fan overnight and see if it evaporates or something. Thanks for the help.

IF you are worried about water put it in a ziplock bag full of rice (the rice will absorb the moisture), or take the hair dryer to it. Don't let it just sit. The sooner the better.

Alright, Hair Dryer it is then! (Don't want to waste precious rice haha). Thanks! I'll post the results here.

I sure hope that's the case. My phone is still a bit messy, but a little better than before, no doubt. I'll keep on drying it and hoping. If all else fails, then I'm thinking of restoring. Would that fix it maybe?

Just go easy with it. Don't overheat anything! Use it on low and dont hold it there constantly

Haha, thanks. I'll blow dry it for a few minutes and if that doesn't work then I'll just leave it for an hour or so and see what happens.

Alright, well, the bottom right of the phone seems fine. But the other half is still messed up. Every time the QWERTY is on the screen, it keeps pressing Return sporadically. That, and pressing delete sometimes acts as the "L" button. It's still better overall. I just have to keep trying I guess. Thanks.
