Candid ll kx16 screen issues

Hello,
I have a candid ll kx16 from cricket.
I turned my phone on today and the screen is bright white, but I cannot see any screen icons or numbers.
If you slightly turn the phone to the side you can make out what is on the screen, but it's all backwards.
I'm sure that I'll eventually have to take it to cricket and pay to have it fixed, but thought that I would see if anyone had any ideas before I fork out my hard earned cash.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Problem resolved.

So, what did you do to fix it? I have the same problem now with my Wildcard VM phone. Thanks for any help you can give.

Turn off phone, pull out battery for 10-15 seconds and then put battery back in.
This did initially work for me, but then I turned the phone off.
When I powered the phone back on the problem was back and nothing I have done since has fixed it.

So my advice would be, if that fix works for you, DO NOT Turn the phone off after that.

Good Luck

It has nothing to do with the power of the phone. It's a flex cable issue. KX16's are famous for it.

It seems to me these phones are too easily messed up. The VM Switchback cell I had, the hinge on it broke. Anyone know of a good text keyboard phone that holds up to texting everyday with no issues of white screens and broke hinges? Thanks.

Not sure what the flex cable is exactly, but do you have any advice for fixing this issue?
I would love to be able to send and read texts (and everything else for that matter) again.

There is really nothing you can do. Kyocera doesn't sell that part separaretly, and being the handset is out of warranty, they won't repair it.
