I've asked Virgin like a billion times and they continue to just give me the run around. I've asked in the Virgin forum, but nobody knows...

Anyway, my friend has Alltel and she is trying to send me a picture message. It will come to my phone, I say get it...it goes to the download screen, but, it never downloads.

After a few min I get this error:

"receiving failed - Message receipt failed. Msg canceled. Retry later from the inbox alert"

I have reprogrammed the phone like 5 times...it doesn't help.

I have a Virgin Wildcard.

I can send picture messages to myself...I can even send her pics, and she gets them. But, I can not download incoming picture messages from her.

Can anybody help me? Or at least tell me the issue!? Thank you!

Oh, and I should add picture messaging worked fine on my previous phone, the Snapper...but I upgrade to the Wildcard (M1000) and it wont work?

Help...anybody...please...lol

idk i have a wildcard 2 and i have never had that prroblem though all my bffs have virgin mobile maybe u can only recieve pixs by other virginn mobile users

That shouldn't be the issue. Last year, a friend who had a camphone on a different carrier sent a picture to my Snapper and it came through just fine.

I haven't tried this with my Wild Card though.
