S55 F/W12 trouble answering calls...

Not sure if it is me, t-mobile, or fone (F/W 12). Repeatedly I answer calls and get nothing. Sometimes is will take 3 incoming calls to connect with good signal. Additionally, my email is showing up as SMS and I cannot read the message, to: and subject: info only, no message. I may have to forget email, too much spam and it makes me crazy to pay for downloading useless data. I like the fone otherwise and it works great as a modem for my laptop. Any help would be apprediated. I used GPRS settings for email from this site, very helpful, but I must have gotten something wrong.

i downloaded v12 a week ago and today my phone did some funny thing. i was talking to my gf on the phone and all a sudden, it kept ring and ring and wouldn't stop and all the keys were locked. and finally i got disconnected.

could it be the firmware bug?

I have never had any problems since loading f/w vsn 012.
When you installed vsn 012 did you install the official Siemens release or a cracked vsn?

I have had the same problem. For whatever reason, the fone will start ringing and will not stop. I had to shut it off to get it to stop. Worse yet, it seems to be intermittent, makes it hard to duplicate and troubleshoot. Addionally, I have had problems swapping to pick up a call waiting, the fone will swap, but not pick up, very frustrating. I use about 5-6,000 minutes/mo. for business.

The ver. 12 was from the Siemens site. I am otherwise very happy with all of the features, the organizer and address/phonebook are the best I have seen. I have not firgured out the remote sync, if anyone has, please share. Thanks.

I have had no problems at all when I tested out f/w vsn 012 on my s55. I found it to be very stable. If you're having constant trouble with vsn 012 I would roll it back to vsn 011. Hopefully vsn 015 will be out soon

I have the same problem where the phone will sometime ring and ring. I can't stop it from ring except to turn the phone off. I am using v12. How can I change back to v11? I don't have the v11 firmware.

Is it possible that this is a T-Mobile system issue and not a Siemens issue, or any other phone for that matter? The reason I ask is because, aside from an S55, I also own a Samsung S300 that I use on T-Mobile here in NY. I have been using this phone exclusively for the past few weeks, and have been experiencing the EXACT same problem. Is this a coincidence, or does it lead us to believe that this phenomenon is not phone specific, but a carrier problem?

I seem to be having the same issue as you Yi Dennis. Everytime my phone rings it keeps ringing. I guess I have to roll it back one upgrade, any ideas on how?

actually, i experienced it just a couple of days ago. I think my fone was ringing.. but i ended up pressing a whole bunch of buttons by mistake.. but it hung up on the ring.. but for some reason.. it kept on ringing.. and wouldn't stop.. until the person who was calling me called me back.

exactly the same as what i experienced..
also there's a problem with camera. once after i took off the camera from the phone, the phone restarted by itself. v12 is really buggy

Anyone having experiencing trouble with f/w vsn 012 should roll back to vsn 011. Hopefully vsn 015 will be out soon and be an improvement over vsn 012.
