Can a Blackberry 8320 be used with VOIP?

Hi,
I have VOIP (Broadvoice) for my home phone. i was wondering if i could use my blackberry over wifi to make calls.
i am not sure whether i can do that with a BB or not...
Can anyone help please?

Its possible when used with carriers that support "UMA" (Unlicensed Mobile Access). However, I don't believe there is a VOIP wifi client available for Blackberry with your voip carrier.

Nati, have you checked out the Tmobile @ Home service. That could replace your home VOIP service. TMobile also has the service that allows you to make calls from any hotspot on your 8320.

Globalinx VOIP service were you can use your WIFI phone anywhere you can pick up a wireless signal at use your home # from that spot.

There are plenty of 3rd party softwares for that. They are failry cheap and some are free. There are more for the iPhone, because of its comercial success. Now that blackberry is becoming more mainstream, you can find great little programs that can help you out.
