Ok, I have a new Curve...it seems to be in 1exv instead of 1EXV..i get emails, and data works...But, i m a little nervous something is wrong with this unit...Also a battery charge lasts like 8 hours in stand by before going dead..any ideas?

nope just the software that came on it...4.3.0.124.....just got it 2 weeks ago

ok battery pull fixed..and I resent the service books...but do you know what causes this or if its a common problem?

even tho i received via mail can i take it to any Bell World, or just corporate stores..How can a prove its defective if the battery pull fixed it?

I sometimes find my Pearl will refuse to go 1XEV, it'll either stick in 1x or 1xev and need a battery pull to reset. It may be a change in the network causing it to mis-configure. In my case, when it refuses to go to 1XEV I don't get any emails until I a battery pull.
