does the bell bb 8830 support gsm 1900?

i thought the 8830 only did gsm900/1800... why does desktop mgr say 1900 too?

If it supported 1900MHz GSM, I'd be seeing Rogers in my network list....and I don't.

i might have heard that 1900 was in there (hardware wise) but that the North American carriers blocked it somehow (software?) so that we don't see Rogers, AT&T, etc.
