i like techno similar to that song dota (which is fantastic) but i dont know what genre it is. anyway im just looking for some similar songs/artists.

You can download some Armin van Buuren or Tiesto, similar-ish.

There's always The Chemical Brothers, Bob Sinclair & Steve Edwards, DJ Miko, Paul Van Dyk, Gio D'Agostino, September

All dance/techno artists.

Something that you can use is www.pandora.com, find similar artists or songs

The top ones usually are the better ones, but you may find others that suite your taste a bit more.

True.

The only thing I can add to this is that usually the top of the heap artists start to go mainstream at some point and their music turns to crap. Try to find older stuff by some of the top artists and you won't be disappointed. Just my 2 cents -

I would agree with that statement to some extent. Some of the top ones are mainstream, but some are not. Usually the older stuff is better, so do look for that.
