How do I transistion from iPhone to E71?

I have a Nokia E71 coming mid-week. In regard to my account, can I change things online or do I have to call CS? I am hoping to use the non-PDA MediaNet data plan. Since I am using a non-ATT phone, how do I go about picking my data plan in either senario (online or CS rep)?

Thanks in advance.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia 6620: MOT-Q9/01.09.28R Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; Smartphone; 320x240) Opera 8.65 UP.Link/6.3.1.17.0)

Since they do not sell it (the E71), I would ask for the $15 data plan to be added.

Just give them the IMEI of your new Nokia E71. Since it's not supported by ATT, they will not force you to get the $30 PDA plan.

You qualify for the $15 medianet plan.

Quick question:
Do you still plan on keeping your iphone 3g? As long as you do not use the iphone 3g 100% of the time, you should be fine with ATT data plan audits.

It's very easy to call CS to cancel the iphone data plan. You cannot change it online.

Thanks for the reply.... I am selling the iPhone. I got the E71 for $389 at NewEgg.com with an additional 3% off using LiveSearch Cash Back. Looks like NewEgg raised the price to back over $400. I am pretty stoked about the E71. Always liked Nokias... the metal body is a definate plus.

Yeah, I got my Nokia E71 from newegg.com also. The prices there keep going up/down. I got a 5% LiveSearch Cash Back when I purchased it. I heard some people got 25% LiveSearch Cashback via Ebay sales.

The E71 is a great phone. I've had it for almost 4 weeks. I'm very satisified with it. The S60 OS takes a while to learn but once you mastered it, you will find that this phone is awesome. Very high quality build. I do not know why best buy has the dummy Nokia E71 on display. The dummy display at Best Buy does this phone a great injustice.

Also once you put the ATT Sim in, the phone will automatically configure MMS/WAP/ATT internet settings for you.
