Friends,

My friend who return back from hongkong gifted me jin peng A1288 mobile phone.
But all are in chinese/japanese....i dont know....
how can i change the language to english?

Sounds like a Chinese phone. I've never heard of a phone with both Chinese and Japanese and English all in one. It's probably Chinese/English.

For starters....

You can try to locate the phone's "settings" which should look like (設定). And then look for Language settings which should look like (語言) And then it should list languages. 中文 = Chinese and English should just be in English. If not the characters for English is 英文. Hopefully that can get your phone into English again.

but i am not able to see those characters.
is it possible to change the languages using any mobile editing software like oxygen phone manager or like that....
also, what is default key to unlock the phone?
in nokia it will be "Unlock"+"*" what will be in these chinese phones?

The phone's probably in Simplfied Chinese and I was inputting Traditional. But you can probably look for character resembelance.

At last....i gave it to one of my friend. he did some trial and error and he succeeded.
now its in english.....
now i am able to save the picture but i am not able to save the movie.
Also, which software is best for editing this phone.
is oxygen phone manager II is ok?

I have no idea. You're on your own for a Chinese phone. I've never used one.
