Just a question
I clicked on IM & Email on my instinct and it said I wil be charged $8/month. I said ok because I wanted to check it out.
Well i found out it sucked and a perfect example of Bell's price gouging because it only worked with hotmail and doesnt allow me to setup email from gmail/yahoo for instance. The MSN worked ok fromj what i could see but there was no way for me to set up push email (or w/e its called) for gmail.
anyway I removed the feature right away from Bell.ca
will I be charged for this? Will the charge be pro-rated for 1 day (or does it calculate it to the minute or hour or what?)
also do you think the rep will agree to credit any charges seeing as how I was expecting the instinct to function like the one for our US counterparts (theirs work with gmail/yahoo and others, and also a lot of the articles online like from canadian newspapers have misled us because they must've been using the instinct from Sprint because they mention how the email function works with gmail).....
any help would be appreciated thanks

at most, i think you would be charged for one day, but i don't know if that particular feature has a one month minimum (i doubt it)...even if the system charges you for a month, i am sure Bell would reverse the charge for you if you only used it for 10 minutes.
also, there has been plenty of info regarding the instinct in here...if you wanted to know more about it before you bought it, you should have checked it out here first.

i think its lesson learned.. never believe what you read..
and go to the newspapers and ask for your credit for saying something it does not.. not bell
