Just when I thought my HD-Radio was worth it...

I purchased a stereo with HD-Radio built in ready to go, none of this "You need another part" BS. For about 4-5 months now a local Country station on HD-1/FM had Hard rock/metal/really hard "stuff" on their HD-2 band. It played alot of songs/bands that I didn't hear of before but enjoyed listening to. 2 days ago, it switches to Jazz. Yes, JAZZ. Omaha went from finally having a decent rock station without alot of talking *cough* Z92, to nothing again worthwhile.

Fired off an email to the station owners asking why it was changed over without any hint they were and my distaste in it (in a nice manner though since I'm not someone who wigs out at things unless I truly feel its needed which is rare).

damn that sucks

maybe you can get a signal extender or something and pick up radio stations that are farther away?

or maybe it's time to jump ship to satellite radio

I'd get satellite radio but the cost I can't justify quite yet. My current stereo wasn't terribly expensive since I'm not a huge audiophile so this works within my reason. Eventually I will have to jump ship which won't bother me. Just a matter of waiting it out a little longer.
