Keep getting that when trying to access internet on my E71 it picked up all the settings from my SIM is there anything else I'm supposed to do ? It works fine when using Wifi (but that also gives me the packets error when trying to send email. )

You might have to choose Cingular as the carrier rather than AT&T. The latter could be referring to the old AT&T Wireless Service. The settings are not retrieved from the SIM card. The phone uses the SIM card number to determine the carrier. It then gets the settings from a database stored in the phone.
