Verizon Plans

I am on a Verizon 2 year plan which is over in Oct 08. Last year I put a friend on the family plan for 2 years and it expires Sep 09. My question is can I switch to T-Mobile and can my friend still use Verizon. Thanks

Your friend would need to switch over to a single line plan, instead of a family share plan, but that's about it.
