Looking for SIP VoIP service that would work on my N & E-series devices via data

Where do I start in my search for a reliable company that provides this service? The aim is to use it in the US & Canada to call abroad as well as to call home & locally when I am abroad. As my devices have HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS & Wi-Fi, it would be nice to be able to utilise at least some of these to their fullest.

I would just go with Skype but their & other mobile Skype clients are clunky & require callback, which is against what I am looking for.

Googling gives so many results & I'm not even sure if the companies shown provide what I am looking for. I am not looking for something to use in conjunction with my landline phone (I actually have none anymore).

Thanks if you can help me out here. I am new to 'true' VoIP services.

I've gotten both vbuzzer.com and unlimitel.ca to work with my E-71. Vbuzzer has instructions on how to get their system to work. Unlimitel is pretty straight forward too.

If you'll use it regularily, use vbuzzer (good yearly prices), if infrequently when out of the country only, use unlimitel (good pay per use type prices).

Direct Inward Dialing

Its pretty much a phone number. If your just looking for doing outgoing calls, you dont need to worry about it.

As I do want incoming as well, it would be relevant to my needs.

Then you gotta purchase a DID, price depends if you want a local number or toll-free.

Do any comparison site comparing rates exist for these providers? Perhaps it may just make more sense to continue using Skype & buy an Online Number from them to forward & receive calls on it just fine from US & Canadian callers?

Perhaps it's my pre-paid account or something but I keep getting logged off of Fring on my N95-3, even with another program keeping my connection up. I'm hoping this can be fixed. It happens almost always when I move out of a coverage area & then back in - it won't re-log in.

I haven't seen anything like that. So far, no forum as good for VOIP as HoFo is for cell phones.

I use www.future-nine.com. It's very inexpensive and as far as I can tell, quite reliable. I'm using a PAP2 device instead of a computer or data connection on a cell phone, so my quality is very good -- I assume that it would also be good via softphone software. They may still be in beta, but they're cheap enough it doesn't bother me.

Just bought a DID number from LES.net. How do I set it all up to make/receive calls on my Nokia N95/E61's included Internet Telephone program? In my profile/settings on the site, I don't understand any of the prompts or boxes shown.

A peer has been created for me already. Do I use that? The tech support says they needed screenshots as they don't work with the devices I am using. I sent those but am unsure if they will still understand.

Can someone please assist me with getting Les.net's VoIP service to work on my N95-3? I'm almost at a month of paying for service that I can't use because my unit is not registering with Les.net. I am totally new to the world of true VoIP service & am about to give this company up as i have not gotten any help from them or anyone here. If I need to describe the problem, can someone on here please ask what exactly they need to know?

What a waste of money this would be if I had to give up Les.net because I can't get the service to work on my N95-3.

Thanks...
