'Japan' Super Blue LED for 3360 - any diff.?

I'm watching this eBay item because I want to convert from stock wimpy green to non-flashing blue LED for my 3360. The listing says "Made of Super Bright Japanese LEDs, not made in China or Korea (those are dimmer!). Is there really any difference between "Super Bright Japanese LEDs" vs. NokiaLight.com's Ice Blue set? Has anyone bought from KT Cellular.com (this is the eBay co. - his ID is kt_inc)? Good stuff?
Thanks for helping out a newbie
(and, yes, I did search before posting this).

I'm not convinced. In the real world, most of the LED manufacturers buy dice from only a few sources, and since blue is popular there are cheaper, dimmer versions, in a lot of cases due to the use of smaller LED chip light sources. The one's from kt_inc are probably OK and their prices are good, but jeez I wish they'd post some specs for brightness (rated in millicandelas) instead of just saying 'super-bright'. That means you gotta buy a set and compare them to other manufacturers to know for sure. Wanna buy a car, it goes really fast, faster than other cars!
Brightness or no-brightness, the cheaper LED's are usually not quite as 'colour matched', as real manufacturers such as Nichia sort for colour rank. Kingbright blue's are pretty good, too, and they're a 'real' manufacturer of LED's. One place where you 'get what you pay for'.
