New comer for SpringPCS!

Hi,

I posted earlier asking about the coverage of springPCS in Bay area last year. Now my contract with cingular has almost come to an end! I have decided to go with SpringPCS in March 2nd.

Now my question is that, will Sanyo have any new phone replacing its current SCP-5150 in next couple months? To my knowledge I know that SCP-6200 will be out soon, just not sure when, but I would liek to see one with 3G data compatibility, 65530 color. If anyone happen to know..please inform me because I dont want to upgrade it later. Any information will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

5150 is 3G compatible. As for a 65K color screen, don't expect that for a while. Maybe at the end of 2002 at the earliest.

Keep in mind that most of the phones out currently will support 3G voice only, and not data

Since Sprint PCS' 3G is coming, when will we expect to see phones that fully support 3G ?

and I've gone from the 5000 to the 5150 2x already. They gave me a great deal on the upgrde to the 5150 and I simply handed the 5000 to a family member in school for FREE. She didn't complain as it was better than any other phone she had.

And then I referred my 2 friends and they took my 1mth old 5150 to get the referral service credit and I got another new 5150.

It's great and legit.

Don't worry about the 5150 being replaced, there's always an upgrade path.
