has anyone been able to have a good or fair quality video ringer on the env2. ive tried sending myself 3gp files but doesnt give me option to save as ringtone or sound.

try using bitpim with the 'file system option' NOT drag & drop GUI windows, and placing the 3g2 file directly into ringtone folder

NO i don't have the ev2 , thats just the best method of doing this regardless of which phone,

i have the dare and the voyager

QPST EFS Explorer (which is warez)
and Bitpim (Which is free)

Both do it.. what do you have against Bitpim?

nothing. i just dont have the usb for this model yet. does bitpim work ok with env2

Yeah, it works great. You can do it over Bluetooth, too.

Really?!?! For the life of me I can't get bitpim to connect to my Keybo (enV2) it just doesn't seem to want to communicate.

the enV2 is different from any other LG 9100 model. Different software has different limitations and methods of communication. Bitpim only officially supports the enV2 (which is from Verizon)
