Re-programming SCH-5000

Hey people out there, I was wondering if there is any way to re-program this phone or give it a hard reset so it doesn't show the stupid "telus" or "sprint" logos. Also the annoying "NOT INTENDED FOR BILLING PURPOSES" sign when you check air time. I was thinking that it must be possible since you can take advantage of the PC link cable.
Any info is appreciated.
