I'm not sure about the other codes, but I have been told by a couple of techs that you shouldn't use any of the *228 options besides *22899 and *228 because it creates problems in the switch.

| I wonder what the differences might be between the 90 and 99 if they seem to do the same thing |

*22898 and *22888 is for Verizon INPulse Activations and ESN swaps, they are identical. and *22899 is the ****, I love it, it programs within about 30 seconds. *22892-93 is the OLD *228 Menu System(you can interrupt the lady) before the ESN swaps and ETC. *22894 is a weird test system probably for engineers. *22895 is a Full Phone\NAM program w\ PRL (*228 opt 1) *22896 is a PRL Update (*228 opt 2) *22897 is a Full Phone\NAM Prog w\ PRL (*228 opt 1) I am MOST interested in *22894 someone please elaborate on this. |

Programing phone. SPL unlocked (Service provide unlocked) downloaded. Prl (Preferred roaming list) Downloaded Mon ? downloaded. I am not sure I totally agree with the 228 options not downloading the firmware. If it is not downloading firmware, how come it reset your security code on the phone? |
