it looks just like a cosmetic mod (casing) so i don't think it should be that hard to do

changing the faceplate was a breeze , just like changing t68i faceplate, however u need to remove the antenna...and make it work, the antenna is just the top part of the phone

there are two clip life clips in the housing itself, u unclip it and it slides right off. and clip the oem antenna into the new housing

where did you get the housing for the gd55? i just got one and curious on my options

there are numerous ones on ebay look for gd55 with 5 color choices one of them is blue

I believe the others are red, pink, silver, and grey

do a search for "gd55 faceplate" then there will be a gd55 5 color choice auction

here a link there are only 3 colors in the gallery picture but if you scroll down the auction, there will be 5 faceplates of which will be a blue one
